New: Stand-alone depaneling machine SAR-1300 Mono-Smart or SAR-1700 with extra large working area

SCHUNK Electronic Solutions is launching two panel separators with large installation spaces: the SAR-1300-Mono-Smart and the SAR-1700. The devices mill and saw individual circuit boards from complete circuit boards (panels) – the maximum panel size is 600x500 millimeters.

The first collaborative loading of depaneling machines

With the unique automation solution from SCHUNK, the productivity of depaneling machines is significantly increased.

A robot arm with a SCHUNK Co-act gripper EGP-C is attached to the double shuttle of a SAR-1700.

After the panels have been separated, individual parts are placed on a conveyor belt, a blister pack or in a downstream automation system
Process starts again

Only the panel magazine still has to be attached manually. A single employee can therefore look after up to five machines at the same time.

This SAR-1300 series is designed for small to large batch sizes with low to high product variation. Customers benefit from process reliability, low power consumption and short cycle times. Thanks to linear motor axes and modern control technology, the milling accuracy is +/- 0.1 millimeters. And despite this performance, our universal depaneling machines are energy-saving. The technical availability is up to 99.8 percent.
